As their legacy to the next generations of modern dancers, Humphrey and Weidman left their dances, which – based on natural movements and universal themes -are as meaningful today as when first created. Ms. Corbin has had a rich and deep experience in helping to reconstruct many of their early works such as the solos Quasi Waltz, Two Ecstatic Themes, The Call and Breath of Fire. Ensemble works, Water Study, Air for the G String, and The Shakers. Also Weidman dances, Braham’s Waltzes and Christmas Oratorio.

“Since my dance is
concerned with
immediate human values,
my basic technique lies
in the natural movements
of the human body.”

Doris Humphrey,
My Approach to Modern Dance
